Bachman & LaPointe is an intellectual property law firm based in New Haven, Connecticut. We provide a full range of intellectual property services, focusing on patent and trademark preparation and prosecution, licensing, drafting and negotiation of agreements, and counseling as to intellectual property rights including infringement, validity and freedom to operate.

We have an established reputation for providing clients excellent representation and guidance in a full spectrum of intellectual property services. We have a stable client base including entities that have been clients of the firm since its inception in 1978. The firm is composed of experienced and knowledgeable attorneys. Our attorneys include a managing partner who has been with the firm since 1991, and a former corporate in-house intellectual property counsel, and together we bring a powerful combination of knowledge, experience and direct dedication to the needs of our clients. By keeping our firm small, we are responsive and quickly adapt to changes in business and technological fields that impact our clients, providing counsel based upon the most current legal and factual backgrounds.
